Big news! Knight Rising is finally available for purchase. This is the first book in the Faerie Queen series, loosely based on Edmund Spenser’s epic poem, The Faerie Queene. Get your copy today!
Adapting the epic 16th century poem for modern audiences has been an absolute blast. And this book covers the first primary volume of Spenser’s poem, the one that focuses on the Red Cross Knight (otherwise known as St. George), and Una. While I have made a few artistic decisions, I’ve tried to keep the story as faithful to the spirit of the original as possible, while still creating an entertaining story for modern audiences. Which honestly wasn’t hard to do. Many elements in The Faerie Queene are perfect for YA readers, for example.
Anyway, feel free to pick up your copy today and I can’t wait to share the rest of the stories with you!
